TransferDice.com was created following a discussion with a fellow tax director who I was hoping would help write material for GAARMAGEDDON.COM. He confessed that he was not an expert in GAAR but was very concerned about the seeming randomness of transfer pricing and wished he could do something creative around transfer pricing. During a sudden and impromptu “vulcan mind-meld”, I suggested labelling dice with the various variables (countries, function, method and rate) and we decided we would call them………TRANSFER DICE.
So was born Transfer Dice. There were a number of attempts to reflect this in a piece of GAART, including the hand made editions, the laser burned editions and finally the commercially produced 5 colour sets that have now reached their ways to many corners of the world, some 800 sets of Transfer Dice are in use around the world today.
